Will it make me gassy or bloated?Updated 7 days ago
Everyone’s digestive system is unique, but many people who can’t tolerate mature broccoli find that Broc Shot works well for them. In a recent consumer study, most participants reported feeling more energy, experiencing more regular bowel movements, and noticing clearer-looking skin within the first week of use.
Bloating from broccoli typically comes from its fermentable sugars (like raffinose), FODMAPs, and high fiber content, which can be harder for some people to break down. Broc Shot is made from broccoli seeds rather than mature broccoli, and seeds tend to produce less gas because they contain fewer fermentable carbohydrates than mature broccoli.
A small percentage of users may notice temporary gassiness, stomach discomfort, or mild headaches as sulforaphane begins working in their body. This can happen for a few reasons, including individual gut microbiome differences or your body beginning to improve its natural detoxification pathways. This adjustment period varies from person to person and usually settles within a few days of consistent use.
Each serving of Broc Shot contains at least 12 mg of sulforaphane. If you’re new to sulforaphane or know you have a sensitive stomach, starting with a 1/3 or 1/2 of a serving or taking it with food is a great way to ease in. Our sachets make it easy to use the amount that feels right for you and save the rest for later.
Our formula includes a small amount of horseradish root powder. It’s generally well tolerated, but if you have a sensitive stomach, it can also be helpful to start with a smaller amount after a meal and slowly work up to a full shot.
As always, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, including Broc Shot.
