Why we don't use Sulforaphane Extracts or Stabilized SulforaphaneUpdated 18 days ago

We created Broc Shot because we couldn’t find good sources.  Everything on the market was made from extracts or it was stabilized.  Today, Broc Shot is the most potent, natural source of Sulforaphane on the market.  

Why extracts aren't ideal:   

Extracts of the broccoli plant require chemicals and solvents to extract the glucoraphanin from the plant.  This process usually destroys the myrosinase enzyme in the process.  If you don't have both glucoraphanin and myrosinase, it can't convert to sulforaphane.  This means no benefits or mild benefits over a longer period of time.  

Why we never use stabilized Sulforaphane:  

Stabilized sulforaphane is not natural as it involves the use of alcohols, solvents and other chemicals to stabilize and/or encapsulate it.  In addition to these chemicals not being ideal for ingestion, they can also be harsh on the stomach and cause inflammation in some people.   

“Naturally derived” is not the same as natural.  This  is simply a marketing term to describe something that was once natural. Once something is chemically altered or synthesized, it is no longer natural.  It can even be described then as synthetic.  

We find this to be counter intuitive to a wellness regimen.
