Is Broc Shot safe for those with psoriasis-prone skin?Updated 8 days ago

Yes, Broc Shot is safe for most people with psoriasis-prone skin.

Sulforaphane is known to support pathways linked to oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, and skin barrier function. By activating the NRF2 pathway—an important regulator of antioxidant and cellular defense systems—it may help the skin manage everyday triggers that contribute to visible redness, sensitivity, and discomfort.

In 2025, Broc Shot was the first supplement to be awarded the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) Seal of Recognition. The Seal is awarded to products that meet the NPF’s safety and ingredient criteria for people living with psoriasis, including the avoidance of certain irritants and a review of research supporting the product’s use for psoriasis-prone skin.

We conduct third-party testing for sulforaphane, pesticides (inc glyphosate), heavy metals and microbial. Our seeds are NON-GMO, and Broc Shot is made without any pesticides/herbicides (inc glyphosate) at any stage of our cultivation. Although no pesticides are used in our process, we third-party test for 70+ pesticides/herbicides including glyphosate. We test every batch for sulforaphane yield, which measures the milligrams of sulforaphane per dose once activated with water. We guarantee no less than 12mg of natural sulforaphane per dose. Our manufacturing facility is cGMP certified through NSF, SQF and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food as well as registered with the FDA. No product is released unless it passes our strict standards.

As always, we recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before adding sulforaphane or any new supplement to your routine. They can provide guidance based on your individual needs.
